The Fishing Experience tour in Fuerteventura, located in the Atlantic Ocean, allows fishing enthusiasts to go out on a boat and experience the excitement of deep-sea fishing.
When we leave the harbour, we will travel through the clear waters until we reach the open sea, when actual deep-sea fishing will begin, using the captain’s equipment.
Fuerteventura’s good geographical location, subtropical temperature, and ocean currents result in abundant marine species in its seas. Year-round fishing for sedentary species includes abae, grouper, sierra (bonito), pejerrey (anjova or tamahams), bicua (barracuda), medregal (lemon fish, serviola), and others. However, it also serves as a route for numerous migrating fish. Tunas such as bigeye (Thunnus Alalunga) and skipjack (Thunnus Alalunga) come in January and February, while samas and giant medregales appear around the end of June. Whether you enjoy fishing spinning, fishing jigging, coastal trolling, bottom fishing, or deep sea fishing, Fuerteventura has an abundance of opportunities… and the chance to capture the fish of a lifetime.
Fuerteventura is an excellent location for deep-sea fishing since, as previously said, there are significant depths a short distance from the beaches. This means you may begin fishing as soon as you leave the harbour.
From June until the end of October, the blue marlin, the king of deep-sea fishing, the white marlin, the dorado (llampuga), and several species of tropical tunas visit the seas of Fuerteventura. Bluefin tuna visits the islands in the autumn and winter.
Departure from the port of Caleta de Fuste at 09:00 a.m. and return at 13:00 p.m.
