Playa Park Zensation

The family-friendly Playa Park Zensation is in the northeast of Fuerteventura – a popular destination due to its white sand beaches and typically warm weather.

Set in the resort town of Corralejo,  Playa Park Zensation is within walking distance of shops, bars and restaurants, and it’s a short walk to the nearest beach. The hotel’s modern buildings are Spanish in style. They sit in tree-lined gardens surrounding the pool area.

The hotel underwent refurbishment in August 2018.

LOCATION & SURROUNDINGS

The nearest city centre with bars, restaurants and shops can be reached in around 20 minutes walking distance (1,5 km) from Playa Park Zensation. The nearest sandy beach is approx. 800 m away. And the popular beach ”Las Dunas” can be reached in approx. 2,5 km. A shuttle service operates daily from a bus station approx. 300 m from the hotel.

From Corralejo, boat trips leave for Lobos Island, where you can go snorkelling in clear waters. Down the coast from the hotel, you’ll find Corralejo Natural Park, a protected coastal area with a rugged volcanic landscape in the south.

You can take a day trip to Fuerteventura’s capital, Puerto del Rosario, found on the island’s east coast. Here, there are shops and boutiques to browse in the pedestrianised areas, or you can admire the outdoor sculptures. At the beaches of Playa Chica or Playa Blanca you can go swimming, or relax with a drink in a bar looking out to the Atlantic while watching the surfers.

Your destination airport is Puerto del Rosario. Travelling from the airport to Corralejo takes around 45 minutes (43 km) by bus depending on local traffic.

Playa Park Zensation consists of 173 modernly furnished and renovated rooms and apartments distributed over four buildings with two floors each.

The double rooms, Pool View Junior Suite and Deluxe Pool View Family Suite are located in the main bulding. Family rooms, One bedroom apartments are located in the Pool Lateral blocks. Premium Junior Suite and Premium Pool View Family Suite are located in the new Premium Block.

At  Playa Park Zensation, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner in the buffet restaurant, as well as dinner in the à la cartre restaurant serving dinner. The pool bar is open throughout the day and evening, or you can relax with a drink in the night bar.

The buffet restaurant serves breakfast 07.30 – 10.00 a.m., lunch 01.00 – 03.00 p.m. and dinner 06.00 – 09.00 p.m. (06.30 – 09.30 p.m. in summer)

Soft drinks, beer and locally produced wine are included during lunch and dinner.

Pool bar serves snacks (10.00 a.m. – 01.00 p.m.) and pastries and pizza (03.00 – 05.00 p.m.)

Soft drinks and locally alcoholic drink are served in pool bar  (10.00 a.m. – 11.00 p.m.) & in the night bar (08.00 – 11.00 p.m.)

Dinner in the à la carte restaurant is included for guests staying in Premium Junior suites

POOL & BEACH

Playa Park Zensation offers a large swimming pool area with sun loungers and umbrellas. Pool and beach towels are available against extra charge and a deposit.

The premium rooftop pool is only available for guests of the premium rooms.

Children can have fun at the separate swimming pool for children with a waterslide.

Las Dunas the most popular sandy beach with shallow water which expands across 4 km can be reached in around 2,5 km south from the hotel. Another sandy beach is around 1,5 km away from  Playa Park Zensation. Corralejo offers also smaller lava beaches with fine sand. Las Dunas is located about 5 km south of Corralejo, and is a very wide, 7 km long, sandy beach with shallow waters.
